The shared faith of her college softball teammate transformed Adia Polk's life, birthing a powerful ministry.

Adia Polk’s journey into ministry was sparked by a transformative summer camp and her involvement with Campus Outreach at Troy University. It was there that she experienced God's life-changing power, recognized her own vulnerabilities, and embraced salvation. Sharing the Gospel with her college softball teammates presented its own challenges, as she navigated the idolatry often found in competitive sports, experiencing both acceptance and rejection while boldly sharing her joy in Christ.

Through her service at Miles College with Urban Hope Campus Ministry, Adia learned to embrace discomfort and rely on God's guidance. With over six years of ministry experience, she has diligently balanced her spiritual growth with service, seeking God's direction in all she does.

While volunteering at Urban Hope Development’s UHope Success Academy and teaching P.E. at Restoration Academy, she felt the presence of Jesus through her relationships with students. The students’ interest in receiving Bibles underscored the impact of her teaching and outreach. Inspired by a student who now attends church regularly, Adia plans to develop a discipleship program to further nurture spiritual growth.

Her journey reflects a deep faith in God's faithfulness and demonstrates the transformative power of sharing His love.
